June 10th, 2007

Computer has not only strongly expanded opportunities of people, but it has also generated new trades and has forced to rethink the organization of manufacture. It has affected lives of many people. The number of the people, preferring to work at home, is steadily growing. How has their life changed? And what place in new vital way is allocated to a computer? So, it is a high time to talk about computer furniture.
Pleasant and useful
What makes house workplace attractive? It appears that the habitual cozy atmosphere is capable not only to relax, but also to promote the maximal concentration, and thus, to create a necessary emotional spirit as it a convenient armchair, strong coffee and a favorite melody do.
Having conceived to equip the computerized working corner in the house, we frequently pay attention only directly to a computer - its characteristics and the size of the monitor. A question “where to put?” and what computer furniture to choose is solved, as a rule, hastily - if only any computer table was in the house. And in fact computer is bough not “just for decoration”, the majority of users daily spend several hours behind it. Half a year of intensive work, and the person inevitably earns a chronic headache, spoils a bearing, sight… and what to do with children, who are ready to master such marvelous modern “toy” excitedly at any time?
Scientists, referring to results of sad statistics of diseases, have already for a long time repeated that the workplace, equipped with computer, requires the special organization.????
First of all, do not forget, that the principle “the more the merrier” does not work in this case, - computer furniture requires at least six square meters of a floor space, and correct illumination of working place should be provided. Fix light sources at the left of the computer - the same as for reading and writing. Take care, that light was not too bright: hang up curtains on windows and put lamp shade on the lamp.
