Some facts about Persian carpets
Carpets are surprising works of art. Frequently we do not almost pay any attention to them, and meanwhile, any thing in the house should be on the right place, in fact we can create the present atmosphere of coziness and comfort only by the careful selection of subjects of an interior.
Recently a “sterile”, cold and rigidly functional hi-tech style in which any softness, heat and a coziness of carpets were not entered was dominating. Today we can observe the opposite process in architecture and design: the fashion comes back to a kind “olden times”, cozy eclecticism and modernist style, and to… carpets. From the recent aversion of carpets which were replaced with pictures on walls, and beautiful parquet on floors, the designers came back to carpets as a full element of a stylish interior. No one objects that a correctly chosen carpet is a “highlight” of any interior.
Today the most valuable and prestigious are the handicraft carpets. Such carpets today are perceived and appreciated not only as the subjects of use, but also as works of art which cost in the course of time only grows.
