1. Stucco molding, arches and columns
These are, apparently, the beautiful and effective receptions, borrowed from classical style, as a rule, look quite trite, especially if to apply them in with low ceilings.
2. Two-layer curtains - rich portieres with brushes + tulle
The aspiration to create the illusion of rich interior has appeared a long time ago. The last century, trying to show off to clients, resourceful owners of provincial hotels created in them similarity of expensive “capital” interiors with plush portieres, a counterfeit marble and pictures in frames “under bronze”.
3. National carpets on a wall
4. “Design” house fountains
Today it is possible to meet the house fountains made really with taste. This design element is not too popular but if it meets (under the comprehensible price) it almost for certain means, that the fountain will be issued by the most intricate image: it is decorated by artificial moss of the poisonous emerald color, varnished stones, figures of gnomes and other attributes of a “beautiful” life. And it looks natural only in “ecological style”.
5. Imitations and fakes
Fakes existed at all times: cheap things were covered with gilding, and glass has been given out for brilliants. Today a marble ancient, frescos and tiles are being forged - and it is done at much higher level. Even the star sky on a ceiling may be imitated-by means of fine light-emitting diode bulbs or simply covering with huge gold stars. Alas, all these beauty inherently differ nothing from the faded plastic roses in a crystal vase. It looks cheap and ugly at the same time.
6. All “touching”
It is also too ineradicable classics - it is a logic continuation of the same elephants and uncountable porcelain figures of any herdesses, girls with needlework, busts of composers and other inhabitants of the glazed world of sideboards.
Good taste in interior requires victims, but not such greater as it seems at first sight. It is not so easy to refuse from old habits, but sometimes it is simply vital.
